Review of Music and Lyrics

Drew Barrymore and Hugh Grant star in the story of a has-been 80′s pop star who has been asked to write a song for the most up and coming artist around. Grant is the 80′s icon who is asked to write the song but is struggling to find inspiration and Barrymore is there to look after his plants and lends a hand in the song writing when he realises she is a writer.

Great idea this film and Both leads are strong actors so you would expect more, however this film falls flat and fails to impress. The humour is flat, the singing from Grant and Barrymore is awful and the story line is so predictable its painful to watch. Very disappointing.
